The Coast Reporter has been an important part of the Sunshine Coast for the past 12 years. Established in 1997, the Coast's community newspaper employs 17 people at its office and provides many more people with part time work through our circulation department.

We have been fortunate enough to win many major awards over the past few years including the prestigious Suburban Newspaper Association's top prize for a newspaper in North America in our circulation category last year. However what we're most proud of is our community's response to the job we do each week. And we're happy that on a daily basis people phone us with tips, concerns and praise. It shows we truly touch the community all of us are proud to call home.
