Woodsmoke and Tattered Silk: toe tapping, thigh slapping, hand clapping music at The Arts Building with The Billy Hillpickers and Deanna Cartea at a musical coffeehouse evening, with sublime treats by Jacqueline. Doors open at 7:30, music begins at 8pm at 464 South Fletcher in Lower Gibsons. Tickets at the door.

Wild Dock Seed Crackers, 9am with Kim Wilkinson, learn how to harvest and process the seeds of the western dock plant, a local buckwheat relative that grows like a weed. Delicious Liver Paté, 11:30am with Bernard Wera, prepare a mouth watering liver paté using local meats and ingredients. Valentine’s Day Cake Pops, 2pm with Margaret Robinson.
