HALIFAX - The case of a Canadian navy intelligence officer accused of spying is set to return to court today in Halifax.
Sub-Lt. Jeffrey Paul Delisle faces two charges under the Security of Information Act that deal with communicating information that could harm Canada's interests.
During a court appearance last month, Delisle's lawyer said he had to wade through thousands of documents before determining how to proceed.
Mike Taylor also said much of the information had been blacked out because of security concerns.
Delisle was denied bail in March and has been in custody at the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility since his arrest in January.
A broad publication ban was ordered covering evidence presented at his bail hearing.
