HALIFAX - The Atlantic Film Festival has revealed a lengthy lineup of Canadian and international flicks as the annual event celebrates its 30th year.
Nearly 200 films — including 96 shorts and 85 feature films — will be shown during the festival, which runs between Sept. 16 and 25 in Halifax.
Festival organizers say this year's big draws will include "Force of Nature: The David Suzuki Movie," a Canadian film directed by Sturla Gunnarsson.
Festival director Lia Rinaldo says aside from films, the 10-day event will also include panels and creative sessions for members of the film industry.
The festival will kick off with the Atlantic premiere of Michael McGowan's "Score: A Hockey Musical."
The closing gala will feature "Barney's Version," starring Dustin Hoffman and Minnie Driver.
