BURNABY, B.C. - Glentel Inc. (TSX:GLN) said Wednesday that it earned $5 million, or 46 cents per share for the three months ended Dec. 31.
That compares with a profit of $897,000, or eight cents per share, for the same period in the previous year.
Net earnings for the year were $16 million, up from $9.5 million in 2008.
Sales in the quarter totalled $90.8 million, up from $87.5 million.
Sales for the year were $308 million, up from $289 million the previous year.
Glentel provides telecommunications services in Canada and the United States.
