The Whistler Chamber of Commerce has announced the rates for its 2013-14 Spirit Pass program. Adult unlimited and parent passes will each sell for $1,330, while senior and youth passes will be reduced to $690 and $607, respectively.
The adult pass amounts to 16 per cent less than the Early Bird season pass and 30 per cent less than the regular season pass.
The Chamber has also added a Ski Callaghan Spirit Pass to its program this year, offering cross-country skiers access to trail networks at both Whistler Olympic Park and Callaghan Country Wilderness Adventures for $250, or $90 less than the regular season pass.
The details of this season’s qualifying-event options will be announced in early September.
The Spirit Program is open to Whistler business owners and their employees
who attend a qualifying event that teaches resort-specific and customer-service information. Participants are then eligible for a discounted Whistler Blackcomb season pass, known as a Spirit Pass, and also discounted Ski Callaghan, Meadow Park Sports Centre and Lost Lake Park Spirit Passes this winter, in addition to discounted access to a range of summer activities like golf, spa visits and adventure tours through to Sept. 30, 2014. ??
The program is open to employees of any business that is a member in good standing with the Whistler Chamber of Commerce. To qualify, employees must work in Whistler or Pemberton for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
