Pemberton news lacking

Dear Editor,

Hockey games, ice curling, ice fishing, a family skating rink, (all at the same time) skating trails all over the lake lit up at night, fireworks and a big cauldron with a fire to warm up by, food, hot chocolate, on a sunny weekend yet. Oh yes, and a polar bear dip … how disappointing not to see more pictures and a write up on Pemberton’s great Winterfest at One Mile Lake last weekend … (beyond what Grace wrote up that is) … and oh yes, Al McEwan received a very distinguished award. What ever for? Maybe I just missed it in the Pemberton News section? Congratulations, Al, well deserved.
