Sledding thanks

Dear Editor,

Three international bobsleigh and skeleton races combined with over 200 athletes, coaches and support staff makes for a busy and long three weeks. As the skeleton race director for all the races my job could not have been done without great people freely volunteering their time to ensure safe and fair races for all. My gratitude goes out to the following officials Rob, Nick, John, Francis, Tracey, Richard, Curtis, Glow, Brenda, Marie, Dawson, Kirk, Bridget, Michael, Beata, Cat, Christine, Doug, Lorne and the thirty odd crew and guest services staff at the Whistler Sliding Centre. Additional thanks to Mary Scott for hosting our visiting Ontario official, as well as USA skeleton athletes Lauri and Kristina for their forerunning prowess, and Big Rich for his donation to the officials thank you gifts. Until next time.

Diana Rochon
