The holiday season has officially begun with the annual Gingerbread House Party at Nita Lake Lodge on Friday (Nov. 30).
With the afternoon off school, aspiring architects and candy lovers enjoyed themselves building their own gingerbread houses.
Sugar Mama Pastries baked the building materials leading, while Nesters provided the essential candy decorations and Nita Lake Lodge the ballroom to host the event, which is organized each year by The Question.
The event raised $1,000 for Whistler Community Service Society for its annual Christmas hamper program.
