Perspective on dogsled opinions

Dear Editor,

I trust you will not avoid the truth in this, but before we are morally outraged against the individuals involved in the Whistler sled dog killings, let us not forget that most people in our society happily eat chicken, veal, cows and other animals, which have been raised in atrocious commercial conditions. This is deemed to be acceptable if it is all publicly sanitized from our visual experience.
