The Winds of Change Wellness Gathering was another huge success this year. Congratulations to all of the nominees for the Recognition Awards 2012: Lindsay May, Lucinda Jones-Gabriel, Interact Club of Pemberton, Lisa Richardson, Henry McDermot, the Pemberton Library, Debbie Harris, James Linklater, Pemberton Lions and Michele Beauregard.
The beautiful awards were put together via donations of time, materials, and craftsmanship from: Al Leblanc, Dave Steers, Pedrini Construction, Mountain Glass, Lil’wat Cultural Centre and the Art Junction.
Once again, we couldn’t have done this gathering without the support of our key partners: Lil’wat Nation; Village of Pemberton; Area C of the Squamish Lillooet Regional District; Rotary Club of Pemberton, Vancouver Coastal Health, Whistler Blackcomb and the Union of BC Municipalities.
Finally, I want to thank Kara Walker and the Winds of Change Steering Committee for organizing another great event.
