There will be a garden day and open house at the Self Realization Meditation Healing Centre from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. next Saturday, Aug. 18.
Stop by at 8904 Armstrong Way (half way up Trout Lake hill, north end) and receive a warm welcome, tea and cakes, and a chance to check out their not-for-profit work in the community. There will be a treasure hunt for kids and free presentations at noon and 1:30 p.m. Donations welcome.
Aug. 14 and 16 are our last days of summer drop-in. We welcome your feedback and hope you have enjoyed stopping by with your families. Big thanks go to Laura, Lauri and Jane for facilitating this great program.
A reminder the childcare centre will be closed Aug. 20 to 31. The Community School office will remain open with reduced hours.
