Dear editor,
Drivers need to slow down when there is construction on the highway. I was almost hit by a car going way too fast on Suicide Hill on Saturday.
We call in speeding drivers and people using cell phones. Nine tickets of $750 were given out last week for speeding through our construction site. It’s a high-risk job only because of bad drivers.
It’s only a few seconds of your day. Please slow down so I can go home to my family.
