Riverside RV Resort and Campground has seen some exciting changes lately. They have added some wonderful new sites and had some great additions.

Perhaps the best news is the addition of yurts, a whole new way to experience Whistler and a whole new way to camp. Perched on platforms in the woods above Fitzsimmons Creek, the yurts are in the heart of nature. The sturdy structures have rigid walls and roofs and solid floors, yet still have the feel of tenting and being a part of the natural environment. They are insulated, have electricity and all the basic furnishings required for a comfortable stay. All that the guest is required to bring is bedding. Fresh water in available nearby and the yurts are serviced by a complete comfort station with bathrooms, hot showers, and heated floors. Five yurts have been added to the site Riverside plan build more at a later date. For more information on the yurts and Riverside RV Resort and Campground, email them at info@whistlercamping.com, call them at (604) 905-5533 or visit their website at whistlercamping.com.
