Blake Jorgenson photo book on sale

VILLAGE VIBE WITH STEVEN HILL

Local mountain, sport and adventure photographer Blake Jorgenson released a new book of photography last week, aptly called Blake Jorgenson Photography: Whistler British Columbia 1999-2009 and it’s available for purchase at the Blake Jorgenson Gallery (hmm wonder how they got it in there?) and Armchair Books.

The book is a collection of what the photographer considers “quintessential images” of the resort including “mountain vistas and visceral action shots of the world’s best free skiers and mountain bikers, along with quiet backcountry moments and deeply personal tributes.”

Anyone over 18 is invited to join in the action starting at 8:30 p.m. for what is possibly the best schoolyard game EVER! Remember to wear non-marking gym shoes, and bring some water ‘cause you’re gonna sweat.

Entry is $7.25 at the door, or just $3 if you're a LUNA member. LUNA memberships are available to 18-35 year olds for $5 at Whistler's Foto Source and at the door.
