Q. We know Canada’s goal with the Own the Podium program is to top the medal standings in the 2010 Winter Olympics after finishing third in 2006. What’s Canada’s goal for the Paralympics?

A. To finish in the top three in the medal standings. At the 2006 Paralympics in Torino, Italy, Canada finished sixth with 13 medals, including five golds. The top five were Russia (33 medals), Ukraine (25), Germany (18), France (15) and Austria (14). The United States was seventh with 12.
