Q. Hudson’s Bay Co. and VANOC last week unveiled the 2010 Olympic team apparel. What was the inspiration for the new line of clothing?
A. Influential work of many great Canadian graphic designers from the modernist era in the 1960s and ’70s inspired the Hudson’s Bay Co. design team to revisit and re-ignite a classic, clean design aesthetic to the collection, company officials said.
