Triple access for Nordic skiers

Nordic enthusiasts will be able to pay for easy access to three ski areas during the upcoming season, as the operators of the Lost Lake ski area, Whistler Olympic Park and Callaghan Country site are teaming up to offer a Tri-Area Pass.

The pass will cost $325 for adults (19 and older), $195 for those aged 13 to 18, $163 for those 6 to 12 and $650 for families in early-bird pricing, which will be available until Friday, Dec. 5.

The pass gives skiers access to 125 kilometres worth of cross-country ski trails, a wide variety of snowshoe trails and more than 1,000 hectares of backcountry land to explore.

Last season, skiers could purchase a dual-area pass for Lost Lake and the Olympic and Paralympic facility, and park passes were honoured by Callaghan Country and vice versa. The deals have been brought together this year in the triple-area pass.

The Olympic Park and Callaghan Country are scheduled to open on Nov. 22. The Lost Lake trails will accessible as soon as weather permits.
