Whistler – The schedule of construction-related delays and closures on Highway 99 is set to change on Monday (Sept. 15), with possible nighttime closures weeknights from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. and 3 to 5 a.m. That regime is schedule to prevail until Nov. 30. Here’s a look at the next 10 days:


a) Horseshoe Bay to Lions Bay, expect delays of up to 30 minutes Monday to Friday midnight to 6 a.m., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and 10 p.m. to midnight, up to 15 minutes from 9 to 10 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m., and up to five minutes from 4 to 5 p.m..


Lions Bay to Squamish, expect delays of up to 30 minutes Monday through Friday from midnight to 6 a.m., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and 10 p.m. to midnight, up to 15 minutes 9 to 10 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m., and five minutes from 4 to 5 p.m.


Whistler to Squamish, a two-hour closure is confirmed for Friday (Sept. 12) from 3 to 5 a.m. Next week, closures are planned Monday through Friday (Sept. 15 to 19) from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. and 3 to 5 a.m., ending Friday at 5 a.m. Also, expect delays of up to 30 minutes Monday to Friday midnight to 6 a.m., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and 10 p.m. to midnight, up to 15 minutes 9 to 10 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m., and up to five minutes from 4 to 5 p.m.
